A veteran of the underground Hip Hop scene, Guillotine Stylez, formerly Hostyle da 9odchild has created a niche among his peers for his emcee career that he has been perfecting since the age of 11. While studying at Southern University, Hostyle took his talent to the smoky underground scene of Baton Rouge, where he worked with various promotional street teams for super groups such as Ruff Ryders & Cash Money Records. On top of that, he was featured on J Tweezy’s “Rock the Nation” mixtape under the No Limit label and opened for the Young Bloodz during their debut tour in Atlanta, GA.
Although his rapping career began as a means to avoid being bullied in Elementary school, Hostyle da GODchild has come to use his freestyling to speak up for socio-cultural reformation in the United States, particularly among communities suffering “in-dig-nation.” Hostyle is on the homefront, spearheading the Dig Nation movement with renewed energy and flavor, fueled by the cosmic atmosphere of his residing City of New Orleans.
